Canine Rescue is a non-profit organization of the Greater Bay Area
specializing in the placement of Doberman Pinschers and Greyhounds.
The Dobermans rescued come from animal shelters or are given to DogWorks by owners who can no longer keep them. The Greyhounds are retired racers saved from death when no longer wanted for racing. Each dog is cared for in a foster home until a suitable permanent home can be found. All dogs are altered before placement, vaccinated and heartworm tested, and any other medical needs are cared for. Donations are used for this medical care and are always appreciated. Donations may be sent to: DogWorks places dogs in the Northern California area only. For a rescue group near you, please call your local Humane Society. |
